'Cherry Ripe' by Paul Seignac (1826-1904)
A fine Oil Painting on canvas of a French family sharing the just picked cherries tumbling out from the wicker basket. Paul Seignac, a noted 19th century painter, specialised in genre scenes such as this as he clearly had a love for this type of fruit! A very decorative and large Oil Painting suitable for any room. Framed size: 31'5" x 37.5". Signed: bottom right hand corner. Note: This painting had been in the same family for the past 60 years.
